PoliticsNetherlands: Christian Union party: Preparing for the future and facing the European Crisis

Here's a peak at the wee minority party, with representation in the Dutch Parliament, that finds it impossible to stay within the bounds of the Christian Democratic Appeal party.  In correspondence with a member of CDA for 20 years, I was told by my digifriend that she had left CDA for the CU, becawz she found the old party too secularized.  Insuffiently committed to the coming of Kingdom of Jesus Christ in the full array of societal spheres, a strong thread in Dutch culture.  She remains upbeat in the Christian Union party, which recently was included in the Dutch coalition govt, and even more recently was able to become a growth-zone in the Dutch party competiton during the most recent elections.  Perhaps most of the new votes came from the CDA.
